New Music to Get You Summer Ready

With the weather getting warmer and holiday plans taking shape, there comes a whole host of new music appearing that can form the soundtrack to your summer. Here is a round up of some relatively up-and-coming artists that are 100% ready for summer all year round.

Glass Animals – Their new single Life Itself is the first taster of their new album How to Be a Human Being, which is due out this summer, and it is just as crazy and groovy as their previous offerings. It makes for easy listening, being both psychedelic and percussion-driven. It is two-years since they released their first album Zaba, which featured singles such as Black Mambo and Pools. It’s definitely worth looking at their back catalogue before their new album, which is due to come out August 26th.

DJ Snake – Remember Major Lazer’s massive smash hit Lean On? Well, DJ Snake had a part to play in its existence. If that isn’t enough to catch your attention, then listening to his new single Talk should. Featuring soft vocals that sample George Maple’s 2014 single Talk Talk, the tropical-vibed tune is certain to make sure he remains cemented amongst the EDM heavyweights.

Flume – Flume’s new album Skin created a lot of buzz before its release, thanks to his well-received first self-titled album and the popularity of its first single Never Be Like You. It includes many different genres such as trip-hop and electropop, so there’s something for everyone. A must listen, especially if you are a fan of electronic music.

Jonas Blue – Perfect Strangers is the new single from this London-based producer, who you may know best for being behind the tropical house cover of Fast Car that proved to be huge last year. Just in time for summer 2016, the new single features soulful vocals from JP Cooper and summery piano chords.
