Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, and it should be as special as possible. It should also reflect the personality of you and your spouse-to-be. Planning a wedding reception can be stressful, but that’s usually because it seems overwhelming. Professional organizers like Annapolis weddings will ease your stress and create amemorable wedding. The basic components can be planned out with a few simple decisions. Here are a few of the big ones!

Let the Music do the Talking

Most wedding receptions include music provided by DJ packages Las Vegas. While professional DJs always have go-to wedding playlists at the ready, most of them will be able to accommodate requests for your entrance music, first dance, and more. Music is a very personal thing that people have emotional connections to. Use it to convey your feelings and personalize your reception!

    Set a Destination

Where you have your reception (and even service) says a lot about you.  Destination weddings are incredibly popular, and surprisingly easy to plan if you get started early enough. You can essentially decide to go one of two ways. You can either book a resort destination, in which case most of the hard work will be done for you (this is what they do, after all). Or, you can choose your own destination, such as a park, beach, or even a family member’s home. Just make sure you have permission from the city if it’s a public place. Also, be sensitive of how much you’ll be asking your guests to spend to get there and see if you’re in a financial position to bring down the cost of travel.

    Keep it Simple

A generation ago, a large wedding with hundreds of guests in a big church was considered standard. Now, trends have changed. Don’t be afraid to keep the ceremony, or even the reception small and intimate. You can always record it and share it with family and friends online.
