Why Are Films and Series Based On Psychopaths So Popular?

The Joker asks in The Dark Knight if he really looks like a man with a plan.It was fascinating to see how the Joker planned his crimes in such calm and collected manner. For me, at least, that was the reason I started to prefer villains over heroes after watching this movie. The Betty Boop dialect Harley Quinn used, which was a scary costume with a bat that made her an instant celebrity and also gave high school girls a great idea for Halloween costumes. The question is: What is it about psychopathic traits that attract viewers?

My suspicion was that my obsession with psychopaths was motivated by jealousy. In our unconscious, we fantasize about a stage where we can be freed from morality chains and discover our true self. We want to see others behave in a way that is unconcerned by regulations, rules and social expectations. Psychopaths are generally unrealistic. They have many characteristics and traits, including sadism and narcissism as well intelligence and the ability anticipate what their victims will do to escape. Today’s psychopaths are not as convincing as the classic, evil portrayals of murderers. Psychopaths will make up stories to present themselves as more effective, more powerful, or more important than they actually are, which you can see in this American Psycho ending explained.

Let’s now turn our attention to Hannibal Lecter, the mythical hero and legend. Lecter is sleek, witty, and a bit old-fashioned, but he steals the spotlight. Lecter is a frightening figure. He exploits and tricks in unexpected ways. We can’t predict what he will do, or when. We are drawn to psychopathic stories, but it is because we want to “understand” them. Let us try to make it seem at least a little straightforward. Charming is not because they are pleasant or moist but because it’s a way to get what they want. His charisma helps him keep the interaction under control.

A common trait of psychopathic personality is the inability to feel remorse. We are wired to feel cold-blooded and have no guilt, regret or empathy. We have always been bound to follow societal norms throughout our lives. Psychopaths have no morals. A psychopath will kill a man using the same expressions that you and I use when we are combing our hair in front of a mirror. This is another reason people often praise the emotionally inept pathologically. We all have experienced a difficult relationship.

Psychopaths are able to practice as they please. We all have moments when we feel disappointed or upset at ourselves. This is because at a crucial or decisive moment in our lives, we struggle to respond. Psychopaths don’t have to live by morality or conscience and can act whenever they feel it is appropriate. Psychopaths can get the job done, even when it involves getting dirty. This characteristic is common among many folk and literary heroes. Walter White is the result. Walt was able to overcome the same economic hardships that thousands of Americans endured. However, he did so at a price that many non-psychopaths would not consider excessive. This allows us to use our failures as a reason for our success, and we know that our humanity is what is keeping us from achieving our goals.

    In Summary
Psychopaths are often depicted as predators in movies. Films should not be used to show psychopathy to viewers. They should present psychopathy problems like commitment issues and what is causing the change in antisocial behaviours and psychopathy-related emotional or relational issues. It is not a smarter or more effective way to act. Sometimes it is the opposite. It is important to remember that emotions can make the world a colorful, beautiful place to live.
